Cloner, Effectors and Fields turn modeled geometry into procedural motion

Cinema 4D combines parametric and polygonal modeling with spline workflows, generators, deformers and sculpting. Its modeling tools span direct polygon editing and procedural geometry construction inside the same scene.

MoGraph takes those scene objects into procedural animation. The Cloner duplicates objects, while Effectors and Fields control how distributions, transformations and animation are applied. Keyframes, character rigging, motion tracking and the timeline remain available when motion needs explicit timing alongside procedural control.

Simulation Scene links cloth, rope, rigid bodies and particles

Cinema 4D uses a shared simulation framework for dynamics. S26 began that framework with cloth and rope, and later offered releases expand it with rigid bodies, Pyro and the newer particle system, so the exact simulation toolset changes across the offered range.

The 2024.4 particle system works in the same simulation environment as cloth, rope, Pyro, soft bodies and rigid bodies. Emitters create particles, while conditions, groups and modifiers control their behavior; that particle system supports both CPU and GPU simulation.

Redshift CPU carries scenes from materials and lights to final frames

Redshift CPU provides a local rendering path across the offered range. S26 added CPU-based Redshift materials, lighting and rendering, and CPU rendering remains available in Cinema 4D 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Materials, lights and final frames can therefore stay in the same scene as modeling, MoGraph and simulation work.

Windows 10 rises from 1809 in S26/2023 to 22H2 for the 2026 offer

All five offered builds support Windows 11. The Windows 10 minimum changes across the range: S26.014 and 2023.2.2 start at Version 1809, 2024.4.1 and 2025.1.3 at Version 20H2, and 2026.1.2 at Version 22H2.
